Tormenltil (Potentilla erecta)

Tormenlit rhizome as a medicinal plant used already in the Middle Ages, the rhizome is collected in early spring or early fall. Tormenlit, has a lot of applications, primarily exhibits antibacterial work and thanks to a high content of tannins – astringent and antidiarrheal. Because of these properties Tormenlit rhizome is also used in dysentery, abdominal typhus, bleeding colon and rectum and inflammation of the stomach and intestines. Externally as basis infusion of rhizomes of this plant in the case of inflammation of the mouth and throat. Other indications:

  • gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcers,
  • inflammation of the stomach,
  • hemorrhoids,
  • periodontitis,
  • fester,
  • difficult to heal wounds,
  • conjunctivitis and blepharitis,
  • excessive tearing.
