Creeping Thistle (Cabbage Thistle)

Thistle vegetable in Poland was once called “devil’s rib” or “floors herb” had a very important role in traditional medicine. It owes its name to the shape of the root, which looks like it was warmed up. Was sold in pharmacies and markets, even believed that it has an almost magical power by removing the charms cast by evil men. Currently noticeable renewed interest in this plant, which is confirmed by numerous scientific studies. It is a plant of features for diuretics, detoxification and anti-inflammatory, helps excrete waste products. Owes its properties flavonoids contained therein. Thistle strengthens and increases the body’s immune resistance, which we ascribe tritermenom contained therein. Thistle herb due to the diuretic properties that reduce inflammation and is used in rheumatism, gout and kidney disease. Very often, a decoction of Thistle is used externally as a natural antibiotic in inflammatory skin diseases, acne and psoriasis, for the care of the weak and hair loss.
